Dr Daniel Berge

As a founding member of Interventus Pain Specialists, Dr Berge is highly trained in all aspects of anaesthesia and pain management, with his education spanning Cape Town, London, New South Wales and Queensland. He has a particular interest in Spinal pain and neuromodulation.
Dr Daniel Berge is a Pain Management Specialist at Interventus. He graduated in medicine from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, before undertaking specialist anaesthetic training at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals in London. He then pursued his specific interest in pain medicine with fellowship training at St Thomas’ Hospital, John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle, New South Wales and the Royal Brisbane Hospital.
Dr Berge is a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists, the Australia and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) and the Faculty of Pain Medicine of ANZCA. He is a member of the Spine Intervention Society and the American Society of Regional Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine.
He has published scholarly research articles and presented at national and international scientific meetings. Dr Berge is a Medical Tutor at the Wesley Hospital and is a certified Independent Medical Examiner for the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners.
