Interventus Pain Specialists comprises medical professionals with over 30 years’ combined pain management experience.
We offer innovative, evidence-based management treatments for a range of persistent pain conditions, including Back Pain, Neck Pain, Shoulder Pain and Knee Pain. Where appropriate, we also offer Spinal Cord Stimulation to help treat specific pain issues.
Interventus’ experienced Pain Specialists consult at four different locations around Brisbane and South East Queensland.

Dr Richard Pendleton
Specialist Pain Medicine Physician and Anaesthetist
A founding member of Interventus Pain Specialists, Dr Pendleton specialises in the use of minimally invasive techniques to improve the pain and function of people suffering from spinal and neuropathic pain.
Dr Daniel Berge
Specialist Pain Medicine Physician and Anaesthetist
A founding member of Interventus Pain Specialists, Dr Berge is highly trained in all aspects of anaesthesia and pain management, with his education spanning South Africa, the United Kingdom and Australia. He has a particular interest in spinal pain and neuromodulation.
Dr Joshua Daly
Specialist Pain Medicine Physician and Anaesthetist
Dr Daly specialises in the use of evidence-based treatments for chronic pain conditions with the goal of facilitating maximal functional recovery. He continues to broaden his interventional skill set to further assist patients with unique pain conditions.
Amy Underwood
Pain Psychologist
Amy is a nationally endorsed Counselling Psychologist specialising in pain management in adults. She has extensive experience in the management of persistent pain, with a particular interest in pelvic pain.
Megan Hannah
Pain Nurse
Megan is qualified in general, orthopaedic and pain nursing. Her specific areas of interest lie in patient and medical education related to persistent pain, and in neuromodulation as a tool for managing persistent pain.

Once an appointment has been made for you we will ask you to complete a Pain Questionnaire – this is to be completed prior to your consultation with the Doctor, so that we can offer you the best possible care.
PAIN MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
As an Interventus patient, we can facilitate referral to a Pain Management Program.
